March 31, 2010 (Hong Kong) - In March, manroland created a tornado with the “Value-added Printing" seminars across the country with the first round kick of being “PraxisDialog: Value-added Printing, Focus on the Practice”. These seminars were successfully held in Shenyang, Zhengzhou, Wuhan and Nanchang. Unlike previous workshops, PraxisDialog seminars focused on three main areas, being "knowledge transfer, practical application and exchange of views", which aimed to bring Value-added Printing and help companies understand different work strategies that can bring value to the printing shops in these areas.
Experts from the industry formed the keynote speakers, giving an insight into the current situation for the participating seminar delegates and told them to explore the direction of development in the industry. Mr. Zhao, Professor of the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication, gave his professional point of view, combined with practical examples, telling delegates to explore Value-Added Printing as an option." Professor Zhao believes that Value-added Printing is an action-oriented situation and that progressive printing companies are no longer purely traditional "printing" firms, they need to keep improving the quality of printed products, but also look into other services to strive to meet customer requirements, to create better value for customers.
