manroland China Delegation’s Fruitful Trip to IPEX 2010
June 4, 2010 (HongKong) - As the world 2nd biggest international printing industry exhibition which is held every 4 years, IPEX 2010 came to a successful end in Birmingham, UK. As the world leading printing solution supplier, manroland again made the history with a groundbreaking presentation at IPEX 2010. It not only earned the high compliments from the customers, but also achieved the outstanding business performance.
manroland Greater China took this hard- earned opportunity to lead over 180 VIP customers from all over China including HK to attend IPEX in the UK. The China delegation visited not only an advanced printing enterprise in the UK, but also manroland Printing Technology Center in its German headquarters. During the 10 day Europe tour, the customers were very happy to know about and experience the world- first class advanced technology, to learn the excellent management experience in the industry, as well as to share their own business experience with others.
IPEX: manroland Chinese Culture Day
manroland always regards Greater China as the core market of global printing and publishing industry and keeps enhancing its investment in the region. manroland made it a point to arrange Chinese Culture Day for the VIP Chinese customers who came from far away. The setting of the stage was of Chinese characteristics. The wonderful multi- media presentation was in Mandarin. What's more, all the Chinese customers were warmly received by the top management of manroland including Mr Gred Finkeiner, President of manroland AG, Dr Markus Rall, Member of the Executive Board Sheetfed Presses, manroland AG, Mr Adam Yuen, Managing Director of manroland Greater China, Mr Eric Wong, General Manager of Printing Systems Department of manroland Greater China, Mr Tang Keewong and Mr Edmond Lau, Vice General Manager of Printing Systems Department of manroland Greater China.
KEP Printing Group
Before visiting IPEX, manroland made it a point to arrange the customers a site visit to KEP Printing Group, which is located near the Birmingham Exhibition Center. With 25 years' experience, the company provides the customers with a wide range of service, including product design, printing, packaging and inventory management…etc.. Though the scale of the company is not very big, its bright and clean plant holds the mainstreamed manroland presses, including ROLAND 200, ROLAND 700 and ROLAND 900. Led by Mr Eric Wong, General Manager of Printing Systems Department of manroland Greater China, the customers visited the workshops of press and post press. All the customers were attracted to such a tidy plant and the well- maintained presses. One of the customers expressed, "The foreign companies pay much attention to the maintenance of the presses. We really should learn from them in this respect. "
manroland Printing Technology Center
At the end of the tour, the delegation visited the assembly workshop and the Printing Technology Center in manroland headquarters in Germany. The visit broadened the horizon of the customers. In the big and tidy assembly workshop, the customers saw with their own eyes the whole assembly process of the presses. Each step was so rigorous and careful. It could not go any further if it didn't pass the rigorous rounds of standard tests. The customers were deeply touched by the professionalism of manroland. Only with the rigorous and conscientious attitude, such exquisite presses could be produced.
Walking into manroland Printing Technology Center is just like entering into a very modernized multi- functional exhibition hall. Each press exhibited is the role model of press which is equipped with all the advanced cutting- edged technology. manroland is proud of it. The live demonstration of how InlineFoiler Prindor worked was especially presented to the customers. InlineFoiler Prindor is one of the most competitive value added printing technology. The premium performance of manroland presses could be directly demonstrated by all kinds of exquisite printed papers which were piled in front of different presses. The high quality printed papers which showed the different printing technology of manroland not only attracted the eyes of the customers, but also were treated as the treasures of the customers. Customers had a deeper understanding of manroland's advanced printing technology and all round solutions with the live demonstration, exquisite printed papers and the detailed presentations by the engineers. All customers showed that they were very pleased to have such a very fruitful trip to IPEX 2010. manroland IPEX Tour came to a successful end.
