This series of PraxisDialog introduced the following manroland value added solutions:
1. PPL (Power Plate Loading): horizontal, circumferential, diagonal register by the central console, significantly enhance the speed of plate loading; plates could reusable for repeat jobs, automatically restore zero of the plate clamps, improve production efficiency.
2. Job Ticket: maximize productivity with added jobs, and enhance efficiency of equipment, assist the production department to easily deploy the operation of the printing workshop.
3. 3B Plus Format:format sizes up to 780mm x 1050mm, up to 40mm extra width and 10mm of additional length, improve the production of substrates; For some jobs, the increase in production is 20% or more. In addition, to printing more large-format packaging products, it further improves the overall efficiency of production.
4. InlineInspector: online detecting ink skin, scratches, crease, grease, water, distinct colour difference, etc., the automatic nozzle are provided in delivery, or online quality inspection with InlineSorter, ensure that no waste products. At the same time, flaw detection system is in place to achieve high quality and increase customer’s satisfaction.
5. ICS (InlineCoater Smart): this system is very suitable for occasional and simple applications of dispersion coating (protective and matt or gloss coating) on paper and light board. The printing unit equipped with the ROLAND Inline-Coater smart can be changed over from printing to coating and vice versa within a reasonable time. It can be fitted to the last printing unit of all ROLAND 700 straight printing or perfecting presses. An IR/hot-air drying system specially modified to suit the standard delivery ensures good drying results.
6. ColorPilot: this is the market's fastest colour control systems, only 12 seconds to scan a sheet, and to complete the adjustment of colour in 2 seconds; it can print out fast sellable copies in a very short period. The advantage is more obvious with complex print jobs. This allow a truer color and helps print service provider to maintain consistency throughout the run.
7. QuickChange: improve production efficiency can be up to 30%. These include: QuickChange Coating can complete the conversion between UV coating and water-based coating in 15 minutes. QuickChange Surface can reduce the time required for 50%, and cleaning agent can be reduced. QuickChange Color can reduce the waste generated when trial printing, and use a different ink path structure when printing large solid or use special ink. QuickChange Job can automatically adjust the height of gripper of the in-feed cylinder and transferter.
8. InlineFoiler Prindor: Inline cold foil can avoid the register error of second pass. It can achieve a high production speed of 13000sph; and complete very delicate hot-stamping, such as hairlines or mini characters; cold foil before printing, and UV printing on Aluminum surfaces.
9. UV Printing: much wider range application with better quality, including wine case, cigarette case, cosmetics packaging and front cover of high-end magazine, etc. In addition, plastic film printing device can be configured to carry out UV printing on plastic sheets.
10. TelePresence: regular periodic monitoring of customer equipment maintenance, enhance the stability and useful life of the press.
